Well, I thought miss Lacey was a bit vocal last night. And sure enough, she is in heat. I had a feeling this would happen after we had to push her appointment out, but I'm just grateful she is going on Monday! For the most part she is behaving herself... doing a lot of exploring and lowering herself to the ground when I pat her.
ET's response has been quite entertaining! I didn't know how he would react, given that he wasn't neutered until about 6 months ago (age 3). Well, he is quite annoyed by her rubs and solicitations! I've even seen him pass a couple swats her way!
So, there's some frustration at my house. Definitely looking forward to Monday!
